- Thanksgiving 4-H Community Service Project - If you enjoy giving back, we are asking for canned food/boxed food items to donate to local families in need! Drop off items by November 16th to the Clay County Extension Office!
- 4-H Art Club will meet on Tuesday, November 15th at 4 PM at the Clay County Extension Office. FREE & open to all youth ages 8-18. You must call to register by November 10th at 598-2789.
- Kentucky Small, Limited-resource, and Minority Farmers Conference; November 15 – 17 at KY State University (Frankfort); register at https://bit.ly/2022_sfc
- Clay County Beekeeper Association meeting will be on November 17th at 6 PM at EXCEL.
- Pins & Needles Homemaker Club meets the 3rd Saturday of every month at 10 AM at the EXCEL building beside McDonalds. However, this month, they will meet on November 19th. This club always welcomes new members! Bring your materials and join them with your sewing projects. Don't know how to sew, no problem...they will teach you! If you’re not already a homemaker member, dues are $12 annually. Call 598-2789 for more information.
- November's Calendar recipe is "Sheet Pan Dinner." Come join us at the Clay County Extension Office on November 22nd at 1:00 and get one of our 2022 NEP calendars at the end of the class!
- Piggy Bank Contest - 2023 Piggy Bank Design Contest is a creative way for youth to learn the importance of saving money and reducing debt. Design your very own piggy bank and drop it off with the entry between November 28th – 30th at the Clay County Extension Office, 8AM-4PM. All students attending public, private, or home school enrolled in kindergarten through twelfth grade may participate. Winners will have their names, grades, counties, and winning piggy bank displayed in the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort, Kentucky during February 2023. Winners also will receive a certificate. Call the office at 606-598-2789 for more information or an entry form.
